Easy Homemade Granola Bar Recipe
The kids can take this to school, since it is nut free!

1/3 Cup Olive Oil
3 Large Heaping Tablespoons of Organic Raw Honey
1 Teaspoon Organic Vanilla
1 Egg (Local Farm – Pasture Raised)
1 Cup Organic Flour
1 Teaspoon Organic Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Cream of Tartar
2 Cups Organic Whole Rolled Oats
1 Cup Organic Raw Sunflower Seeds (soaked and dried)
1 Cup Chocolate Chips (or Chocolate Bar without Soy Lecithin Smashed with a Hammer)
Super Simple – Combine all ingredients in order, then mix until everything is fully incorporated.
Place into an oiled glass baking pan (use virgin coconut oil or olive oil).
Press mixture into bottom of pan with wet hands, bake at 350 for 25 min.
Wait until semi-cooled to cut. These are great to freeze and take out when needed on the go for snacks (kid tested, father approved recipe).
If this recipe is too sweet or not sweet enough (add 1/2 cup of Coconut Palm Sugar or reduce amount of raw honey), try different variations until you get the consistency and texture you and your family like, actually by making different variations everyone starts to get the taste of natural food in your diet. Don’t give up if you make it once and it doesn’t taste right.
