5 Immune Support Tips For Emergency Situations

Ayurveda is The Science of Life. It is a form of ancient Indian medicine, which is still practiced in India today. I would like to share 5 helpful tips on how to use your PANTRY spices from an Ayurvedic perspective and using doTERRA oils to help support your immune system. Tip 1: Pantry Recipes

1 Tbsp Turmeric*

2. 1 Tbsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper

3. 1 Tbsp Dried Ginger

4. 1 Tbsp Clove

5. 1 Tbsp Cinnamon

Optional: Vitamin C Powder – 1 tbsp (if you have it) Mix all together in 1 bowl. Then take 1/4 – 1/2 tsp of this mixture and put in 4 oz of hot water, take every few hours as needed to help with immune system when it has been compromised. This is suggested to be taken RIGHT before food or after food. 

From an Ayurvedic perspective, Turmeric helps body tissues on all levels to function better, Black Pepper reduces cough and clears the air passage, Ginger calms down the respiratory system and reduces swelling, Clove reduces intracellular and extracellular fluids, Cinnamon facilities air passage and reduces cough. 

Tip 2: Essential Oil Z-Pack (Adult Dosage)

  • Day 1 & 2 Morning: 6 Drops Onguard, 3 Drops Oregano, 1 Drop Frankincense in an Empty Veggie Capsule. Take right before food or right afterwards.Day 1 & 2 Evening:  6 Drops Onguard, 3 Drops Oregano, 1 Drop Frankincense in an Empty Veggie Capsule. Take right before food or right afterwards.
  • Day 3 & 4 Morning:  5 Drops Tea Tree, 5 Drops Lemongrass, 3 Drops Onguard  in an Empty Veggie Capsule. Take right before food or right afterwards. Day 3 & 4 Evening: 5 Drops Tea Tree, 5 Drops Lemongrass, 3 Drops Onguard  in an Empty Veggie Capsule. Take right before food or right afterwards.
  • Day 5 & 6  Morning: 5 Drops Onguard, 5 Drops Oregano, 4 Drops Lemon, 1 Drop Frankinsence. Take right before food or right afterwards. Day 5 & 6Evening: 5 Drops Onguard, 5 Drops Oregano, 4 Drops Lemon, 1 Drop Frankinsence. Take right before food or right afterwards. If you dont have lemongrass, use lemon. If you dont have empty veggie capsules, use honey.

Tip 3: Diet

If you are feeling under the weather. Support your immune system with home-made chicken soup. Eat light meals, sip hot water and avoid dairy, sweets, processed foods and cold/raw foods. Add freshly cooked ginger, onion and garlic in your meals. Drink Echinacea Tea 3 times a day, right before meals.

Tip 4: Digestive Issues (Adults and Kids)

If you are experiencing digestive discomfort. Make a roller bottle with 15 drops Digestzen, 5 Drops Oregano Oil and 5 Drops Frankincense oil diluted topically over your belly every 30 minutes until relief. Additionally Digestzen softgels or Digestzen Oil in an empty veggie capsule is helpful. Fresh ginger or peppermint tea is also very helpful at relieving stomach issues.

Tip 5: Fever Reducers

Soak 3 Tbsp Coriander Seeds in 1 Cup of Cold Water. Leave overnight, strain and drink in the morning on an empty stomach and you can drink more throughout the day if you make a larger batch.

Also, use an essential oil roller bottle with 15 drops eucalyptus, 5 drops clove, 3 drops peppermint fill the rest with fractionated coconut oil and apply around neck, top of forehead and bottoms of feet.
